TYPE OF TWIST
We can design the twist in your necklace using one of two(2) different techniques. If we design the necklace with a built-in/permanent twist the individual strands will spiral in opposite directions -- in other words -- the strands will criss-cross over each other which will give the necklace a bulkier appearance versus the necklaces in the photos. This method or technique will also cause the necklace, at times, to tend to kink and does not have the flow of the self-twist technique.
If we do not pre-twist the necklace and you
self-twist -- all the strands will flow/spiral in the same direction for a smoother look and feel. Self-twist/you-twist will untwist when the necklace is removed but that is okay as when you decide to wear the necklace again you get to determine how much twist/ look the necklace will have before you put it on. It is easy to self-twist the necklace. Just twist each end in opposite directions until desired twist is achived, place around neck, and clasp. This is the method/technique we prefer as you have control as to how the necklace will look when worn.
