What is your return policy?

If the jewelry you receive does not match the detailed description on our website you may return it for a refund. No other type of returns will be accepted. Please notify us within 5 days of receiving your order at customerservice@crystalutopia.com to request a return authorization number. Refunds will be made using the original form of payment.

SHIPPING & HANDLING POLICY

(We only ship witnin the USA and Canada)

Shipping = .25 (applied to each item)
Handling = 3.25 (applied once to entire order)

Examples:

1 item shipping & handling = 3.50
2 item shipping & handling = 3.75
3 item shipping & handling = 4.00
4 item shipping & handling = 4.25
5 or more items shipping & handling = 4.50

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

In most cases you should receive your order in 2-5 business days. However, certain custom orders may require us to procure special crystals. In such cases it may take up to 10 business days for you to receive your order. For our Canadian customers, it generally takes 2-3 weeks for you to receive your order after it has shipped.

Do you sell children's jewelry?

We cannot assemble or sell children's jewelry. Our jewelry contains small parts and is intended to be used exclusively by adults.

What brands of crystals and pearls do you use?

We use Swarovski crystals and pearls (unless otherwise noted), exclusively, in all our necklace designs.

What type of stringing material do you use?

All necklaces are hand-strung with 49 micro-woven stainless wires, giving our necklaces life and movement with the drape of silk, while delivering incredible strength for long lasting durability.

What do the letters "AB" mean after the color description?

AB (Aurora Borealis) {Aurore Boreale} This is a special coating, applied during a Swarovski crystals creation, that will add a brilliant iridescent-prism appearance combined with a fiery sparkle that will display all the colors of the rainbow.

Some common sizes:

pencil eraser = 6-7mm; small marble = 13mm; dime = 18mm

What size pearls should I buy?

The fashion industry suggests the following:

age 12-16 = 5.5 - 6mm pearls
age 16-24 = 6 - 6.5mm pearls
age 25-30 = 6.5 - 7mm pearls
age 30-34 = 7 - 7.5mm pearls
age 35-36 = 8 - 8.5mm pearls
age 37-45 = 8.5 - 9mm pearls
age 46-up = 9 - 10mm pearls

Generally speaking, how long is a:

choker necklace = 16"
princess necklace = 18"
opera necklace = 36"

What is your shipping policy?

We only ship within the USA and Canada.

Can I order color and size samples?

If you are unsure about the color or size of beads for your jewelry we encourage you to click here to order samples. Also, please feel free to contact us at customerservice@crystalutopia.com with any questions you may have related to jewelry for your special occasion.

What is your telephone number?

We prefer email contact versus telephone conversation. Email helps us pace our workload and leaves a record of communication for future reference. With a record of your inquiry it is more efficient if we have to reply.

Not sure which color necklace to order?

Try the crystal-aurora-borealis or the crystal-vitrail-medium . These seem to be the most versatile colors from the Swarovski collection. The crystal-aurora-borealis will match any wardrobe while the crystal-vitrail-medium combination seems to pick up jewel-tone colors very nicely.

When choosing colors for pearls, if you desire a true black you should order mystic black.

***Important---please read.*** When viewed on a computer screen, the specific shades of the Swarovski chart crystal colors will vary slightly from monitor to monitor. Also, subtle changes in shades are unavoidable in the manufacturing process from one batch of crystals to the next. We have done our best to ensure that the photos and charts shown provide you with the best representation possible of the items' actual colors. Please note, however, that in some cases, the images you see on your monitor may not reflect the actual colors with total accuracy.
